Navigating the World of Care with Compassion

Hi! I’m Laurette Foggini:
A Home Care Expert

I have worked as a home care expert since 2004. I assist families locally and remotely in navigating care for their loved ones. As a long-distance family caregiver for my parents and sister, I understand the complexities of care and available options, costs, challenges, and setting up for success.

I am a Certified Care Manager (National Academy of Certified Care Managers) and a Senior Fitness Specialist (National Academy of Sports Medicine). I have volunteered with Hospice by the Bay, Little Brothers of the Elderly, Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation, and Youth Mentoring.

I am also a Caregiver Champion with Caregiving.com.

Author and Advocate

Based on my deep commitment to addressing isolation among the aging population, I have self-published two children's books about caregiving. 'The Song in Lola’s Heart' and 'The Tale of a Hero I Know' are currently available on Amazon.com. A sequel to 'The Song in Lola’s Heart' will be released later this fall.

Originally from New York, I have lived and worked in Italy and Singapore. Now based in San Francisco, I stay active with hiking, backpacking, and bicycle riding. I also promote adventure and support women through my group, www.adventuregalssf.com.
